is a typeface, italic Times Roman is a font; bold Times Roman
is a different font. While font selection is typically considered
very important to graphic design, browser users can override
the default font when displaying a web page. Also, graphic designers
for the web have no way of knowing what fonts browser users
have on their machines, though some fonts (Times Roman, Courier
and Helvetica) are fairly standard across platforms. |
